Leeds City Council Flood Risk Management Team
The team are currently assessing options to reduce flood risk to properties in Thorner from Thorner Beck.
In order to select a preferred solution, topographical and ground investigations surveys need to be undertaken on the week commencing 29/1/2024.

These works require traffic management measures on Main Street and Lower Sandhills for up to two weeks. On 15/1/24 issued notices of entry to the appropriate landowners and occupiers, and we are in the process of informing the wider community about the works, and the details of the traffic management.
Residents who live in the immediate area of the works received a copy of the letter attached in this email.
They will also be sharing details on social media through targeted advertisement see also the poster on display in the Parish Council noticeboard.
